Megan McMahon | she / her / hers

Do you find yourself comparing your life to others, feeling anxious, or unsure of yourself? Do you struggle to tell people how you really feel or have a hard time setting boundaries with coworkers, friends, or family? Are you going through a life transition, beginning college, graduating or starting a new job? If you want help to understand the roots of your emotions, navigate relationships with confidence, or simply have a safe place to work through the hard parts of life, I could be a good fit for you.

I work with teens, adults, and couples who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, attachment issues, and those moving through life transitions. I affirm all gender expressions, sexual orientations, and consensual relationship styles. My approach is person-centered, conversational, and direct, always infused with humor and empathy. In my practice, I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for change. My goal is to provide a safe space to process experiences, feel heard, and grow. Finding a good fit where clients feel safe, respected, and comfortable is of the utmost importance to me. While I may not have a magic cure or be able to provide an immediate fix, I look forward to being your partner in all of this and am motivated to support you every step of the way.

In my free time I enjoy reading, listening to movie podcasts and spending quality time with family and friends. In addition to my work, I am passionate about learning and am always following my next curiosity.
